FCSS National Child Day Movie Night

The McLennan Royal Purple Elks Lodge #62 is offering their annual bursary.  The bursary is for $300.00 and will be presented on November 11, 2019 Remembrance Day Service at the Elks Hall in McLennan, AB.  Deadline for applications is November 7, 2019.

Enjoying the Lakeshore of Kimiwan Lake

Please remember that when enjoying the natural beauty of the lakeshore that this is a nature wildlife habitat and is used by both people and animals.  Stay cautious and alert for signs that animals have been there recently.  Some percautions to take are: Stay alert, keep children near and keep dogs leashed.  Report sightings of bears, cougars and other large predatory wildlife to the Town of McLennan at 780-324-3065 or the Peace River Conservation Office at 780-624-6405.

This Smoky River Regional Fire Department will conducting home visits on October 9th from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Feel free to wave them down or call 780-837-2455 to make an appointment.

Tax Incentive for New Development in McLennan
A new policy has been passed that could provide you with a rebate of 100% on your municipal taxes for the first year .  This applies to new development and improvements to exisitng buildings.  A copy of the policy can be obtained at the town office.
