Public Education

Public Education – High Prairie School Division

Georges P. Vanier School offers a public education for students in grades 7 – 12.  Students are provided bus service from McLennan.

Ecole Routhier School provides elective education in either French or English for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.  Busing services is provided for students from McLennan.


Adult Education

Adult Education – Northern Lakes College

The McLennan campus of Northern Lakes College offers academic upgrading, one-year certificate and diploma programs as well as university classes.  Study on a part-time or full-time basis.  To contact Northern Lakes College to see what educational opportunities are available, call 1-866-652-3456 or the campus directly at 780-324-3737.

Smoky River Adult Learning Program

Northern Lakes College has partnered with this Community Adult Learning Program (CALP).  This is a government funded program, that offers literacy and foundational learning, learning support services and many community capacity programs.
